Why corrugated is sustainable
Corrugated board is typically manufactured from recycled fibres and is itself 100% recyclable. It is biodegradable, sustainable and has one of the highest recycling rates (between 80nand 85%) of any packaging material in the UK and Europe.
Unlike other packaging materials, corrugated board and packaging can be recycled multiple times, usually between 7 and 10 times, before the fibres are too short to use. At this point they biodegrade naturally.

Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001, demonstrating our commitment to minimising environmental impact and continual improvement.
Waste Reduction
We continuously work to reduce waste in our manufacturing processes. Board offcuts are baled and returned to paper mills for recycling.
Energy Efficiency
Ongoing investment in energy-efficient equipment and LED lighting throughout our facilities. We monitor and work to reduce our energy consumption year on year.
Clean Transport
Our Euro VI fleet meets the latest emissions standards. We plan routes efficiently to minimise fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Sustainable Design
Our design team works to optimise packaging - using the right amount of material, no more. Less material means less environmental impact.
Part of the Circular Economy
Corrugated packaging is a perfect example of the circular economy in action. Trees are grown, harvested sustainably, turned into paper, manufactured into packaging, used, recycled, and the cycle begins again.
