Our BOBST 6 colour high quality post print (HQPP) arrived just over a year ago and since it’s installation and commission has been manufacturing some amazing, printed packaging solutions for our customers.

Our skilled team continues to develop a range of print solutions depending upon our customers requirements and has learnt much from the team at our sister company Cardboard Box Company who have the same machine, installed a few years earlier.

This collaborative working has enabled our team to learn quickly understanding the capabilities and tolerances of the machine.

Why it offers a different print solution

What sets the BOBST apart from other print solutions we offer is the quality and flexibility. Six-colour printing adds orange and green inks to the tradition cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) inks and this wider range of colours enables more vibrant and in-depth colours, images, better transition between colours (especially when printing skin tones) and more realistic images to be replicated.

Working with our ink supplier, we have real world tested solutions allowing us to give knowledgeable and professional advice to our customers as to how they can benefit from their packaging being manufactured on our BOBST.

To further enhance the customer experience and our production capabilities, we have a digital inspection table, the first in the world of which was installed at Cardboard Box Company in 2017.

Designed to enhance print quality control and virtually remove production errors, the Digital Inspection Table is a novel technology that incorporates digital projection for the proofing of printed sheets and die-cut blanks, whilst providing real-time visual representations to match product with digital proofs.
