10 Sep 2024

Recently, certification audits to Quality and Environmental standards for Boxshop and Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) were completed with the team passing with flying colours!

Certification has been achieved in :
Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 for Boxshop and Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton)
Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001 for Boxshop
Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001, at first attempt, for Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton)

This means that both sites will now be fully integrated into Joint Certification for Internationally recognised ISO standards for Quality and Environmental Management.

Brian Morris, Systems Manager for Boxshop and Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) commented; “This was a great outcome for us all and my sincere thanks go to all the team who worked so hard to achieve the necessary standards by maintaining and improving our practices, controls and standards.”

During the audit the assessor was very complimentary about the systems and procedures we have in place and our housekeeping confirming that operational controls in place across our facilities exceeded the standards required.

Brian concluded; “Achieving these standards and maintaining them to the highest levels at all times means our customers are reassured that we operate our facilities in the correct way adhering to all requirements.

“This is just one reason why customers trust Boxshop and Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) to be their preferred packaging partner safe in the knowledge that we pay great attention to detail in all we do.

“It is important that we all strive to maintain and continue to progress across all areas to keep us at the highest standards at all times. With other audits and customer visits consistently taking place, it is important that we take the learnings and feedback from our Auditor and build upon this to strive to keep up best practices on a day to day basis as part of our building Quality culture across the Scottish operations.”
