Scottish sites retain BRC AA certification

Boxshop, along with Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) has recently achieved BRC AA status as part of a joint audit*, undertaken by Certification body across both Scottish conversion facilities.

With both sites being run by the same management team, operations for certification have been streamlined to ensure both sites achieve the high standards required to achieve, and most importantly, retain this important certification.

Brian Morris, Systems Manager at Boxshop and Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) commented; “This is a great achievement for both sites and highlights the dedication of the team to ensure we were able to accurately demonstrate our quality and product integrity systems and controls.
“My thanks go to the team whose diligence and tenacity has ensured that we met all criteria of this global standard which is necessary for many of our customers.”

BRCGS Packaging Materials is a globally recognised certification that evaluates company practices and procedures to ensure they are operating at the required standards across all elements of the business including Quality and Product safety and associated legal requirements.

Customers also benefit from knowing that products are manufactured consistently to the highest standards of quality and integrity. Furthermore, the team constantly strive to be the best in its field bringing confidence to the supply chain and beyond.

This achievement supplements both sites successfully achieving joint certification to ISO 9001:2015 earlier in 2023.”
